This morning the Community Assistance Volunteers visited Caritas, a day center run by the Nuns to provide medical and other services to homeless children, many living on the streets of Djibouti. Accompanied by our Dental Technician, Petty Officer Perkins, we taught the kids the proper way to brush and care for their teeth as well as giving them new tooth brushes and toothpaste. It was a very rewarding experience for everyone involved.
