Octoberfest in Djibouti proved to be an awesome event with lots of games, door prizes, line dances, and fun. "Joe Boxer" is my newest friend in Djibouti, having just met him the previous day in Ethiopia while getting on the shuttle to board the plane back to Djibouti. As I got on the shuttle, he pointed to me and said, "You're Dave!" I looked at him with surprise and he said that he had been reading my blog and recognized me instantly as "Dave". He said he was on his way to Djibouti and found my blog when trying to research the area. He'll be working with our Harbor Security Boats. Welcome to Djibouti!
