Camp Lemonier

Camp Lemonier Djibouti is located in the Horn of Africa and is the only U.S. military infrastructure located in Africa providing a base of operations for support services. The Camp is the primary base of operations for U.S. Africa Command in the Horn of Africa and supports more than 23 tenant commands with Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force members. Military personnel serve on four to fifteen-month rotational tours as individual augmentees (IA) or as part of unit deployments, and U.S. civilian personnel also serve on a rotating basis.

Oasis Movie Theater

The Oasis Movie Theater is located next to the Fitness Center and is a great way to watch newly released movies in a real movie-theater environment. The latest and greatest movies are provided by Navy Motion Picture Service in an 8mm format. Show times are Monday-Saturday, 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., Sunday 1100-All day.

Located beside the Oasis Movie Theater is the Game Room. There are X-Box, X-Box 360, and PS2 systems and games for your enjoyment. Hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. to midnight.

11 Degrees North

11 Degrees North is the perfect place to relax with a cold beer or wine and use free wireless internet. This bar/club venue provides the opportunity to beat the Djiboutian heat in a relaxing and inviting environment. You can sit inside and watch television, play pool or shuffle board, ping pong, or play in one of the tournaments. If it is a nice day outside you can also sit outside. Bar / Club hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, 7:00 p.m. - midnight. Remember, 3 beer limit is the rule on Camp Lemonier.
